It’s very much like in-person therapy, except you get to be in the comfort of your own home! A link to the telehealth session will be sent to you via email and text once an appointment is scheduled. Simply click the link at the time of your appointment and we can begin!

Yes, I do offer in-person sessions in my downtown Tacoma office.

Individual therapy - $150

Couples therapy - $180

I have a certain number of sliding scale appointments available in my practice for individuals or couples. If you are in need of sliding scale sessions, please ask me about this option in your initial contact.

I am an out-of-network provider for many insurance companies.

If you have a private insurance provider, there is a good chance that your insurance will provide some compensation for out-of-network providers.

If you want to use your out-of-network benefits, I'd be happy to provide you with a statement (superbill), that you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement of fees already paid.

I recommend contacting your insurance company to determine your coverage for out-of-network reimbursement.

Many of my clients use their Health Savings Accounts and/or out of network reimbursement to pay for therapy.

Please note for couples therapy, you will specifically need to verify that your insurance company will reimburse for diagnosis code Z63.0, which is the diagnosis code we use for all couples therapy.

Late Cancellation is defined within 24 hours of your session at the time your session is scheduled to begin. Any late cancellations or no-shows will result in full fee payment for the missed session. If an unavoidable conflict or emergency arises and we are both able to reschedule within the same week (Monday to Thursday), the cancellation fee will be waived.

Sessions are 50 minutes. If you are interested in a longer session (75 minutes) please contact me regarding availability and pricing.

To begin, we will meet once a week. When we start meeting there is a lot of ground to cover. I find it’s important to gain some momentum in the beginning by meeting weekly. Once some or all of your goals are met, meeting less often will make sense.

The financial investment in counseling varies based on each person’s unique needs and goals. For most clients, I typically recommend starting with weekly appointments. As we build rapport and symptoms begin to improve, we may decide that you’re ready to move to every-other- week sessions.

There’s no required number of sessions. This process is flexible and tailored to you. If something urgent comes up between regular sessions, you're always welcome to reach out via email to schedule additional support.
